ICT Box Program
Secure. Simple. Designed for the Remote Era.
Today’s workforce is more distributed than ever—and retrieving IT equipment from remote employees can be a logistical headache. Lost, delayed, or improperly packed devices put company data at risk and disrupt asset management.
The ICT Box Program eliminates the complexity.
ICT offers a no‒contact solution for recovering IT assets from remote users. Pre‒packed return kits are shipped directly to asset holders, including labels, packing materials, and instructions. Employees pack devices and drop them at a carrier location. Assets are delivered to ICT’s facility, logged, data‒wiped per NIST 800‒88, then recycled or reused. Each project ends with a Certificate of Data Destruction and Compliant Disposal for audit needs.
How it works?
Asset List Submission
The client provides ICT with a list of devices to be returned, along with the names and contact information of the individuals holding those assets. The list can range from a single device to thousands, making the program suitable for projects of any size.
Box Shipment
ICT prepares and ships boxes directly to each asset holder. Each box includes pre-paid shipping labels, packing materials, and clear step-by-step instructions, removing the need for the asset holder to source packaging or arrange shipping independently.
Packing & Drop-off/Pick-up
Asset holders follow the instructions provided to pack their equipment securely. They can then arrange a carrier pick-up from their location or drop off the prepared box at the nearest FedEx or UPS facility. ICT ensures this step is simple and accessible for all asset holders.
Delivery
Once the shipment is in transit, it is tracked through to delivery at ICT’s secure processing facility. Clients have visibility into the status of their assets during this stage.
Processing
Upon arrival, assets are logged into ICT’s system, matched to client records, and cataloged. All devices undergo secure data destruction in compliance with NIST 800-88 standards. Functional equipment is prepared for reuse, while non-functional or end-of-life items are responsibly recycled. ICT maintains a strict zero-landfill policy.
Certification
After processing, ICT issues a Certificate of Data Destruction and Compliant Disposal for each device. This certificate provides proof that all data was securely erased and that assets were managed in accordance with applicable regulations. Clients can use this documentation for internal records, audits, and regulatory compliance.
